At AquaPie, we love seeing everyone reaching the common goal of having a better body and improving quality of life while we help you conquer through the stubborn chronic pains (I know, finally!). We offer various movement techniques to release tight & weak muscles so that they can be retrained as flexible & strong muscles. That's why we specialize in Pilates based movements as well as the rehabilitation aspect of CoreAlign exercises in our classes. If you are the type of a person who can't help shaking every time you hear a beat, try our Balanced Body Barre class. Whether you prefer gentle somatic practice or ball busting hardcore fitness, we have a ton of options to get your precious body into the best shape of its life!
Mystie Cho - Owner of AquaPie - has been providing physical wellness services through Pilates method and other core strengthening techniques as a certified Pilates instructor since 2011 in San Francisco and Mountain View. She was introduced to Pilates in 2007 while suffering from chronic low back pain. She was fascinated by the power of somatic practice and decided to teach. After completing the comprehensive Pilates and CoreAlign training through Balanced Body program, she continues to deepen her knowledge in anatomy, biomechanics, foot & gait, scoliosis, Franklin method, functional movement and corrective systems. She is constantly looking for ways to improve her teaching and is particularly interested in helping people with their postures and gait to minimize the common pains. Influenced by her ballroom dancing and martial arts background, Mystie provides instructions that are creative, fun, effective, and precise. Clients of Mystie are dedicated to improving their postures, gait, balance, and core strength by committing to their regularly scheduled practice.
Pilates based fitness is highly beneficial for all ages and populations including: young dancers & gymnasts, post & prenatal care, common post rehabilitation, gait training, runners, swimmers, triathletes conditioning, etc. Mystie is looking forward to promoting the healthy core programs in Sunnyvale and surrounding communities at her AquaPie studio with mindful movement therapy.
